Once upon a midnight dreary
Please help!

Alright, so, I’m an 8th grade Reading/Language Arts teacher and I need some YA Lit book suggestions to expand my classroom library!
I’m just so used to obsessing over the classics, which is far too advanced for most of them, or out of their interest range.
We are reading Hunger Games as a class, which is going so well, and I’ve been recently addicted to everything John Green, but I need more appropriate book suggestions.
Please help, give me your favorites!!

  5. fromtheheartofmymind said: The Bartimaeus Trilogy by Jonathan Stroud. Fantastic series of books, very engaging modern fantasy. I’ve never read Hunger Games so I’m not sure how simple/complex they are, but the His Dark Materials trilogy by Phillip Pullman is also great.
